It’s not a secret that times are tough for writers. The freelance juggle is exhausting and I have more jobs than I can count. It would be impossible to find the energy, momentum, and desire to work this much if I did not love movies with every fiber of my being. There’s no greater thrill than seeing a really great movie for the first time. That sensation of sitting in a dark room with a bunch of strangers, all slowly realizing you’re witnessing something miraculous. Movies have given me a place to escape to, something to share with loved ones, and fuel that sets my soul on fire.

Your donation helps keep this ship afloat. I didn’t start Beyond the Cinerama Dome to try to make millions. I started it because I think more people should watch more movies. Beyond the Cinerama Dome has become a space where independent films are treated with the same respect and coverage as blockbusters. A home for my father and I to bicker over movies. Most importantly, I hope Beyond the Cinerama Dome leads you to your next favorite movie.
