As part of the Primetime section of the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, the first two episodes of the upcoming series, The Listeners, premiered to a packed theater.

M – Son of the Century shows the world on a precipice, one that we have seemingly returned to over one hundred years later. We can only hope for a different outcome this time around.

Daisy Jones & The Six speaks to a rockstar phenomenon of a bygone era, and it would be foolish to say it’s not exciting to live the high life like that for ten dreamy episodes.

At its core, A League of Their Own (2022) is about women wanting. It addresses the simplistic feeling of desire at a time when decisions for women were made for them without much concern for their emotions.

Stranger Things 4, Part One is more of the same, and for a lot of people that will be enough. It’s always nice to see this ragtag group of characters come together to fight evil, but that stopped being enough to sustain the show two seasons ago.

The boys are back in town.
