Netflix’s “Jay Kelly” Trailer and First Look Images

George Clooney might be one of the last movie stars of a certain generation and the upcoming Jay Kelly looks like it might be one of those moments where life and art intertwined. Jay Kelly, from Academy Award nominee Noah Baumbach, is about an aging actor (Clooney) and his dutiful manager (Adam Sandler) traveling across Europe. Their journey forces them to reconcile with the relationships in their lives, what they’ll leave behind, and the choices they’ve made.

Baumbach directed and co-wrote the script with Emily Mortimer. Jay Kelly is an ensemble cast led by Clooney and Sandler with supporting performances by Laura Dern, Billy Crudup, Riley Keough, Patrick Wilson, Eve Hewson, Greta Gerwig, Alba Rohrwacher, Emily Mortimer, and more. Jay Ellis will have an Oscar-qualifying theatrical run starting on November 14th, 2025 before its worldwide Netflix release on December 5th, 2025.
