FIRST LOOK: “Down Cemetery Road” on Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has unveiled the first images for their highly anticipated thriller series, Down Cemetery Road. Based on the book from the CWA Diamond Dagger Award-winning author Mick Herron’s novel of the same name, from the "Zöe Boehm” book series, the eight episode Down Cemetery Road will premiere on with the first two episodes on Wednesday, October 29 followed by new episodes every Wednesday through December 10.

A house explodes in the quiet suburb of Oxford and, in the aftermath, a girl disappears. This strange series of events piques the interest of a woman who lives nearby, Sarah Tucker (Ruth Wilson). She becomes obsessed with finding the girl and hires a private investigator, Zoë Boehm (Emma Thompson). The two quickly find themselves in a deep conspiracy, far grander than they ever could have realized. In their investigation, they find people who were thought to be dead, are still living while those who are living are turning up dead.

Produced by 60Forty Films, Down Cemetery Road is written by Morwenna Banks (Slow Horses) who also serves as executive producer alongside Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta and Tom Nash at 60Forty Films, Thompson, and Down Cemetery Road author Mick Herron. Natalie Bailey (Bay of Fires) serves as lead director for the series.
