“Supergirl” Teaser Premiere

Superman might be a good ‘ol boy, but his cousin Supergirl is a perpetually hungover party girl. Both hail from Krypton, but Superman aka Kal-El was a baby who never knew his home planet. Kara Zor-El was an early teen when she had to escape Krypton. Depending on the version of Supergirl the upcoming Craig Gillespie-directed film decides to follow, Kara may have also spent some time fully isolated in the Phantom Zone. All of this pain early in her life leads her to be way more rambunctious superhero than her golden boy cousin.
Regardless of how into the lore of Supergirl you are, the first glimpse of the Milly Alcock-led Supergirl looks like an utter blast. It’s about time we had a foul-mouthed, reckless Supergirl at the helm of her own movie.
Set to premiere in theaters on June 26, 2026, the Supergirl teaser sees the titular hero drunk, dancing, and kicking ass.
