In November 2025, Heated Rivalry took the world by storm. Fans have been clamoring for more content from the world of Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novel series. The television show follows Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), two professional hockey players on opposing teams.

Heated Rivalry’s score is composed by Peter Peter, Canadian singer-songwriter, producer and composer. Peter Peter began his career in music in bands before signing with Audiogram for his eponymous solo debut in 2011. Heated Rivalry marks the scoring debut for Peter Peter. He was personally asked by showrunner and creator Jacob Tierney to score the show after Tierney spent much of pre-production listeing to Peter Peter’s 2024 album, Éther.
The two lead singles for the highly-anticipated soundtrack for Heated Rivalry have been officially released ahead of the full album coming later this month from Milan Records. Available to listen to now, “Rivalry” is a high-octane techno track that captures the intensity of Major League Hockey. “It’s You,” the hotly anticipated original song speaks to the other side of Heated Rivalry, the epic romance of Shane and Llya. Together, the two tracks are an exciting taste of what’s to come.
